It’s now been just over a year that Toy Story Land has been opened – and unlike the Disney Land Galaxy’s Edge – the crowds are consistent and strong.
We believe, at least for now, people come to Hollywood Studios only to go to Toy Story Land. The rest of Hollywood Studios is mostly shows with a couple rides sprinkled in, but Toy Story Land has 3 rides, and they’re each different, and great for all ages.
It’s great to have such a wonderful addition to the struggling park, but this means fast passes can be hard to come by. Especially with the recent tier list changes.
Guests staying on Disney Property can make fast passes 60+ days out. At 60 days, it can be difficult to get prime (morning) Slinky Dog Dash fast passes. By 30 days, it’s basically impossible to get any. Your only hope is to frequently check the app, especially in the weeks leading up to your visit.
Definitely try and get Slinky Dog Dash. It has the longest average wait time – and is the best ride (In our opinion).

Toy Story Midway Mania is a great second choice if you just can’t land a slinky dog dash fastpass, though Midway Mania has been out for several years and isn’t a new “Toy Story land addition”
Once your 3 fastpasses for the day are completed, be on the lookout for other rides you may have missed and are interested in riding.
What to Eat in Toy Story Land
At first, we scoffed at “Woody’s Lunchbox” and its offerings. The prices are on the higher side – even for Disney, and the portions aren’t gigantic. There’s certainly better value for quantity, but the quality here is unreal.
There’s options for sweet poptart like snacks, savory sandwiches which can be served with tater tots or a small cup of tomato soup and “Totchos” (Tater tot nachos. The smells alone are enough to draw you in, the cute seating area will make you stay!
The soup had a good flavor, but ours was served a little cold. The tarts have a soft crust and a good amount of filling.
The sandwiches have a generous amount of filling and are toasted well and the cheese is melted perfectly.
All in all, this is a good place for a snack, but a bad place to fill up. For a few dollars more, you can likely find things big enough to share rather than stuff that is filling for 1 person.
